Riverhawk Company, based in New Hartford, NY, seeks a Maintenance Technician for our first shift to ensure the proper function of all machinery and equipment. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support production to minimize downtime and maintain safety and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with strong mechanical aptitude, and experience in manufacturing maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in machine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, conveyors, and other systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Inspect and maintain schedules to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Monitor equipment to identify potential issues before they disrupt operations.
• Assist with building and facilities maintenance tasks as needed (painting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
