Minco Products, Inc. is seeking a Machinist in Fridley, MN to set up and operate Machining Center equipment and associated tooling. You will read blueprints, select tools, and verify tolerances while supporting tube/bar cutting, welding, and assembly tasks.

Qualifications

• English at 8th-grade level or higher.
• Apply machine shop theory and practices.
• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Operate and set up machine equipment and tools.
• Perform advanced mathematical calculations.
• Inspect parts and machines for correct specifications.
• Lift and load materials.
• Comply with safety and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate mills, lathes, grinders and shapers with tools.
• Adjust alignments and holding fixtures, tools, attachments and materials.
• Apply mathematics and layout techniques to ensure tolerances.
• Review specs and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform precise measuring and marking of parts.
• Operate welding equipment as needed to weld or cut parts.
• Assemble parts and test units for function and performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement and safety in the shop.
