Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) experience as a machinist.
  • Experience with oilfield tools and assemblies is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficient in precision measurement and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders).
  • Machine, repair, and modify oilfield tools, components, and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Follow Coastal Well Service safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work with operations and maintenance teams to meet deadlines.
