Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a machinist in manufacturing or maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and the ability to hold tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines, lathes and grinders to produce precision components.
• Machine parts to drawings and supervisor direction while holding specified tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measurement instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop machining processes and setups for new jobs.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on industrial machinery.
• Maintain machine shop organization and housekeeping.
