Responsibilities

• Evaluates and acts to maintain a safe work environment according to standards.
• Inspects work areas for unsafe acts or conditions.
• Operates and maintains manual lathe and milling machines.
• Reviews samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications.
• Takes measurements and marks material for cutting or shaping.
• Monitors output to ensure conformity with specs and discards defects.
• Performs routine machine maintenance and basic repairs.
