Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machinist with the ability to set up and operate machine tools accurately.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications for operations.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure safety and proper function.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
