Job summary

You will operate mills, grinders, punch presses, and drill presses, perform in-process and final inspections, and use overhead cranes as needed. Apprenticeship or 3 years' experience required; strong teamwork and safety mindset expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with a recognized machinist apprenticeship program or three years of experience as a skilled machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proven skills in operating manual machine equipment and performing quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, maintain, and repair metal parts, machines and products with precision according to instructions and blueprints.
• Follow oral or written instructions and specifications; work with high accuracy and quality.
• Set up and operate mills, grinders, punch presses and drill presses; use overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Perform in-process and final inspection of parts and ensure conformance to requirements.
• Maintain safety standards and cooperate with team members.
