OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products for the construction industries, headquartered in western Massachusetts. We are seeking skilled Machinists to program, set up, and operate precision machining equipment to produce close-tolerance parts and tooling.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of machinist experience, read engineering drawings, and work safely in a fast-paced environment while contributing to LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of machinist experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Must read tolerances and measure to <0.001 inch.
• Self-directed with strong analytical and math skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety as the number one priority.
• Set up and operate metalworking machinery such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Create and edit CNC programs.
• Produce tooling and precision parts from drawings.
• Mentor less experienced personnel.
• Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
