Job summary

Boeing, based in Seattle, seeks Machinist Assemblers Precision to join the BT&E group. You will participate in the design, fabrication and assembly of various production and research projects using precision machine tools to support aircraft engineering and production.

The role requires reading drawings, setting up lathes/mills/EDMs and writing CNC programs, while ensuring quality and safety. 1st or 2nd shift; union IAM-751; competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CAD/CAM applications experience.
• 1+ years programming, setting up and running CNC machines.
• Experience reading G and M codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench work and prepare production/experimental parts.
• Assemble parts with rivets/bolts using required tools.
• Lay out, plan and sequence machining operations.
• Read drawings/blueprints to determine work.
• Use shop math to calculate dimensions.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, EDMs, and drill presses.
• Check tooling, tools, and machine condition during operation.
• Verify parts meet drawings and tolerances.
