Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1-year college/technical certificate and five years related experience and/or training.
• Basic CNC programming and precision hand tools are required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints; ability to read simple text and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine shop machines to cut, bend, machine or form parts.
• Assist Lead in workflow and process improvement in the machine shop.
• Maintain machinery and plant area in good working order; perform cleaning and maintenance of tools.
• Follow company policies and safety practices.
• Adhere to company core values and CARE initiative.
• Perform assignments as instructed by Lead, Manufacturing Supervisor, Plant Manager and VP Operations.
• Ensure quality of work in machine shop area and parts with close tolerances.
