Job summary

Aermican Orthodontics in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an experienced machinist to set up surface grinders and machine sapphire brackets. You will run surface grinders and CNC production machines, inspect parts, read drawings, and perform precision measurements using micrometers and optical comparators.

Responsibilities include making adjustments based on measurements and fulfilling additional duties to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Machining background a plus.
• Experience with micrometers a plus.
• 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to look at small parts for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Run surface grinders and CNC production machines.
• Inspect parts to make sure they are within specification.
• Read and understand a drawing and machine parts to specification.
• Use of micrometer and optical comparator for inspection.
• Make machine adjustments based on measurements.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
