Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools to produce parts on a production basis.

• Assist in procuring proper tools from the Tool Crib and interpret process sheets.
• Secure first article inspection to verify setup and monitor conformance during runs.
• Use micrometers, calipers and gauges to check work and plot QC charts.
• Float between machines as directed by supervisor.
• Grind high-speed tools under supervision.
