The WIKA Group is seeking a Machine Operator in the United States (Georgia, Lawrenceville) to monitor and adjust precision machining processes. You will inspect parts, fine-tune settings, and maintain equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.

This role supports training of new staff and assists in repairs when needed. We value detail-oriented individuals with strong manual dexterity and the ability to work in a noisy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Attention to detail is essential for accuracy.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and controls.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle materials over 50 lb with assistive devices.
• Must stand for long periods (8+ hours) in a noisy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and setups.
• Understanding of machining applications and setup processes.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine operation to verify settings and detect malfunctions.
• Adjust machines to control part processes.
• Inspect first part and ongoing pieces for tolerance.
• Fine-tune machine settings for optimal performance.
• Clean and maintain machine, tooling, and parts.
• Assist mechanics and machinists with repairs.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Perform ancillary duties as needed.
