Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Sunnyvale to diagnose failures and repair a range of machine tools and hydraulic systems.

You will follow safety procedures, interpret drawings, and perform precise adjustments to maintain equipment uptime. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, replacing components, maintaining lubrication and cooling systems, and documenting parts usage in CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or trade school completion.
• 2 years of maintenance experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• 2+ years using basic hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.

Responsabilités

• Receive work assignments and follow safety regulations and manuals.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment failures and perform repairs as required.
• Remove and replace defective parts using machine tools to size components.
• Repair pumps and maintain lubrication, hydraulic, and cooling systems.
• Align ways, beds, spindles and bearings with precision.
• Maintain inventory of commonly used parts and use CMMS for records.
• Monitor equipment with preventative maintenance programs and schedules.
• Mount and level machines on prepared foundations and shim as needed.
• Operate hand tools and precision instruments for measurements.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; document time charges.
• Perform work of equal or lower classification as required.
• Coordinate with supervision and assist other technicians as needed.
