Premier Paper Converting Machinery, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Builder to assemble precision converting machinery and subassemblies in our Waukesha, WI facility. You will read blueprints, fit components, drill and tap holes, and ensure alignment and quality.

The role requires 1–3 years in machine building, strong tool and measuring skills, and a safety-focused mindset. Collaborative teamwork and attention to detail are essential in our fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and BOMs.
• 1–3 years in machine building or mechanical assembly.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Able to measure parts and layouts accurately.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and maintain quality and safety.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision converting machinery and subassemblies per documentation.
• Lay out and drill/tap holes; fit assemblies with proper hardware.
• Identify fasteners and components for each project.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and bills of materials.
• Perform fitting, alignment, and troubleshooting during assembly.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or build concerns.
