Job summary

Radial Solutions Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Machine Tool Operator to set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and jig borers for precision metal parts used in jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies, and assemblies.

The role may require overtime or second/third shift; you will interpret drawings, select feeds and speeds, measure parts with precision, and help maintain tool dressing and coolants; a background in machine shop practice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machine tools (lathe, mill, grinder, jig borer) and reading drawings or blueprints.
• Familiarity with tool dressing, coolants, and cutting/lubricating oils.
• Experience with CNC Lathe or CNC Mill is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute machining operations with appropriate feeds, speeds and tooling.
• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, jig borers).
• Interpret drawings to determine tool paths and sequences.
• Measure parts with precision instruments and adjust as needed to meet tolerances.
• Maintain proper coolant selection and tool dressing as required.
