Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Electronic Technician - Precision Machine Tool Maintenance to join our Equipment Services team in Washington state. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic and electrical systems on precision machine tools, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This is a 100% onsite role with collaboration across engineering and production teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electronic/electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and are comfortable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronic/electrical experience in machine tool maintenance or related fields.
• 1+ year experience troubleshooting PLCs or equivalent control systems.
• Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet and pass Fall Protection Training.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and electrical systems of precision machine tools and other manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with OEM specs.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols to facilitate information exchange between machine tool and production systems.
• Write and edit programs to support maintenance activities, including alignments and ballbars, using high-level programming languages.
• Develop test programs and loops to troubleshoot equipment movement for repeatability and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment records, logs and updates, preparing reports and schedules as required.
• Plan jobs by coordinating equipment, tools, drawings, and procedures to facilitate job completion.
• Ensure system configurations comply with FAA and accreditation requirements.
• Obtain and maintain applicable licenses, certificates, and certifications.
