Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a Precision Machine Repair Millwright to support aerospace systems on an off-shift basis. You will align drives, pipefit new lines, weld and fabricate components, and return machines to spec.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and an apprenticeship certificate or journeyman status. Strong hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge is valued for system troubleshooting and CNC support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Apprenticeship certificate or journeyman status is required/strongly preferred.
• Journeyman millwright or machine repair status highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pipefitting, welding, and small-scale fabrication for installs and repairs.
• Precision alignment of belts, sheaves, and rotating assemblies.
• System-level troubleshooting across hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Assembly and rebuild of complex mechanical systems.
• Assist with CNC equipment installation and set-up.
