Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2+ years as a machine operator in production/manufacturing.
• Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers; highly organized.
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle and load/unload work pieces safely.
• Operate special-purpose machines and equipment, ensuring conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect welded work pieces with gauges and calipers to verify tolerances.
• Maintain welders and machines; replace worn parts and lubricate equipment as needed.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with suppliers; troubleshoot faults during shifts.
