The Machine Operator role provides setup and operation of production equipment under supervision, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency in line with procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual production machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to position and secure machinery and materials.
• Load, unload, lift, and move materials and product using lifting equipment when available.
• Complete and maintain associated electronic processes and paperwork including bar-coding and checklists.
• Perform pre-shift preventative maintenance.
• Maintain 5S standards and departmental housekeeping.
