Job summary

CentroMotion in Binghamton, NY is seeking a Machine Operator to join the Elliott Manufacturing Assembly team. Under moderate supervision you will set up and operate various machines, read work instructions, and perform basic maintenance while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, document measurements with micrometers and calipers, and troubleshoot with supervision.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints or manufacturing drawings.
• Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program manufacturing machines, tooling and fixtures.
• Read and interpret work instructions and assembly outlines.
• Review blueprint GD&T notes and ensure print specifications are met.
• Inspect assemblies and document dimensional compliance using measuring tools.
• Identify abnormalities and quality defects in assembly build.
• Use standardized guidelines for setups, tooling, fixtures and equipment.
