Job summary

OPW, part of Dover, seeks a Production Technician to set up, calibrate, and operate machines in our Cleveland-area production facility. You will follow verbal or written instructions, inspect outputs with precision tools, and help ensure products meet spec tolerances.

The role requires basic knowledge of production procedures and may require vocational or technical education. You may assist with more advanced NC programming and maintenance tasks as needed, with discretionary bonus potential

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience.
• May require vocational or technical education.
• Ability to communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes.
• Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
• Determine and correct more complex machine malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• May assist with numeric controlled programming.
