Job summary

Rand Whitney Industries in Boylston, MA is seeking a Full Time machine operator to set up, operate, and maintain the Engico FFGS in the designated department.

You will follow detailed instructions, input production data, inspect product quality, and work with the leadership team to meet performance goals while following safety policies. This position requires a high school diploma and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of machine.
• Process material through machine according to specifications; enter production data.
• Inspect and maintain quality of product.
• Move materials and organize work area using a hand truck.
• Adhere to safety policies and report issues.
• Meet quality and efficiency standards; assist leadership as needed.
• Load preparation per customer specs and load tags.
