Job summary

Monoflex is seeking a Machine Operator to operate lathes, slotting machines, and related production equipment. You will read job orders, position workpieces, set tooling, and ensure parts meet customer specifications in a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must work in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills are required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent accepted.
• Experience with measuring instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, slotting machines, and related production equipment to manufacture parts.
• Read job orders and production instructions to determine specifications.
• Position and secure workpieces, tooling, and fixtures; adjust feeds, speeds, and depths.
• Operate machine controls and handwheels to perform machining operations; direct coolant as required.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications.
• Report equipment issues or production discrepancies to supervision.
