Job summary

Sysco is seeking a capable production operator in Florida to manage the packaging process and operate a range of machinery at the Buckhead Meat Florida division. The role covers quality checks, ticket matching, and order processing to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery, supporting growth in a fast-paced foodservice distribution environment.

The position is based on-site in Daytona Beach, requiring the ability to lift, meet yield targets, and keep up with line speeds while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely operate the machine for the intended purpose.
• Basic troubleshooting of machinery.
• Must be able to keep up with the line speed of machinery.
• Must be able to lift at times, able to meet yields, volume (lbs. per hour) and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of machines
• Responsible for the full life cycle of products through the Packaging Process
• Match tickets with the product, perform a quality check of items/weights, ensure the product meets customer specifications, process orders through the Cyrovac machine, ensure accuracy, pack, and palletize
