Job summary

Greenbrier is seeking a Machine Operator Level C to run various machinery and produce parts within tolerances. You’ll use appropriate feeds and speeds based on alloy types to maximize tool life, while following safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to read and act on prints. Candidates should be able to measure accurately with calipers and micrometers, and maintain tooling for continuous production.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic machine operation and follow prints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
• Learn to regulate speed and feed rates for machines.
• Work well in a team and communicate findings clearly.
• Identify defects and document measurements when required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all EHS rules and regulations.
• Produce parts according to print requirements and tooling.
• Measure part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, or tape measures.
• Maintain tools and equipment to maximize tool life.
• Perform safety checks on every machine and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned, including special processes.
