Job summary

Lucas Milhaupt, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator for our Cudahy, Wisconsin facility. The role requires following trained processes, operating equipment, performing quality checks, and reading technical specifications.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to Lean initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Applicants should have a High School education or GED and prefer experience with calibrated measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisor.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and requirements.
• Experience using calibrated measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and scales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate and abide by Lucas Milhaupt safety program and policies.
• Drive Lean activities: 5S, Kaizen events, and productivity improvements.
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and explain steps per training.
• Read and interpret technical prints/specifications and produce to them.
• Perform quality checks and maintain equipment and tooling.
• Weigh scrap and manage packaging to meet quality requirements.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
