Job summary

Lucas is seeking a Group Lead to coordinate work and manage team members in an assigned area at our Cudahy, Wisconsin facilities. Reporting to a Manager or Supervisor, you will drive safety, quality, and engagement while guiding a team toward performance targets.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem solving and time management skills, with lean manufacturing knowledge and a proven ability to lead by example. On-site role with diverse production settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years+ technical experience relevant to the specific work area preferred.
• Ability to interpret Quality specifications, Kanban cards and work orders.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to build teams.
• Basic PC skills (MS Office preferred).
• Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.
• Experience developing and/or training team members preferred.
• Good people skills and willingness to teach and learn from others.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Individuals must possess a strong understanding of production manufacturing and lean processes and be able to lead by example.

Requirements:
