Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Conversational in other languages is a plus.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, set-up sheets, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operates machine shop equipment under general supervision and reports problems as they occur.
• Visually inspect parts for quality and perform secondary operations as required.
• Measures dimensions of finished work piece to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintains machines and replaces worn tools.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
• Contributes to lean knowledge and supports continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team in a supportive manner.
• Other duties as required in support of the department and the company.
