Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks a Machine Operator 1 to set up and run production machines, read process sheets, and maintain quality on the shop floor in Middletown, PA. This onsite role requires basic math, blueprint interpretation, and safe handling of measuring devices.

Candidate will operate various equipment (90% of time on the line), document results, and participate in daily walks around the line. Onsite training may occur on a different shift as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; U.S. citizenship is required.
• 1+ years of machine operator experience; proficient with machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process sheets; inspect parts.
• Deburr and clean parts; perform minor offset changes.
• Use measuring devices and judge product acceptance per blueprint specs.
