Job summary

MOO in East Providence, RI is seeking a Machine Operator to join our fast-paced production team. You will operate and maintain a range of binding and finishing equipment, ensuring quality and on-time output.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, the ability to read work instructions in English, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts. Prior machine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating production machines is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various production machines such as bindery equipment, guillotine cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die MGI, and ABG.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment failures to the Manufacturing management team.
• Adhere to company SOPs to ensure consistent quality and safe operations.
• Accurately report completed orders using company-approved systems; prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ensure equipment and stations are maintained and replenished for the next shift.
• Maintain high quality standards and conduct quality checks, escalating unresolved issues to the supervisor.
