Job summary

Brasstech, a subsidiary of Masco Corporation, in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a Machine Operator to operate a variety of machines and produce precision parts to exact specifications.

The role requires at least 2 years of machine operation experience in a job shop, plus familiarity with lathes (manual & CNC), milling, grinders, and precision measurement tools. Brass alloy knowledge is a plus; E-Verify employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a machine operator.
• Background in a job shop environment.
• Ability to read measuring instruments and blueprints.
• Knowledge of brass alloys is a plus.
• Experience with precision machining and math applications.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units with precision instruments.
• Monitor feed and speed of machines during machining.
• Identify problems from materials or environment and take corrective action.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
