Job summary

MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, WI, is seeking a Brush Division Machine Operator to build surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specs. You will set up and run presses, stamp and weld parts, and inspect components for quality on an on-site basis.

You will read blueprints, follow procedures, operate various tools, and document production records. The role includes crane and forklift operation, with comprehensive PPE and safety practices in place.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets.
• Follow established work instructions and sequences of operations.
• Handle hand and power tools and inspect finished goods.
• Enter data into production records and logs accurately.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines such as press, stamping, spot welding, cutting and trimming.
• Assemble component parts using designated machinery and processes to spec and schedule.
• Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and components with hardware and seals.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to guide work.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy against standards.
• Test completed parts per quality standards and provide documentation.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as required.
