Job summary

Aerotek in Warwick, RI seeks a highly skilled Machine Operator to operate machinery safely, follow procedures, and ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities include measuring data with micrometers, verniers, calipers, rulers, and scales; reading routings; maintaining traceability; collaborating with engineering; and performing overtime as required. This is a Contract to Hire role onsite in Warwick with pay $20.90–$24.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly line experience.
• Solid experience running machinery in a manufacturing or industrial shop.
• Good mechanical skills and following technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery following safety protocols and procedures.
• Interpret and process work instructions and routings.
• Measure and record process data with precision tools and computer systems.
• Perform light equipment maintenance and use hand tools.
• Maintain product traceability and accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot routine production issues and coordinate with engineering for improvements.
• Collaborate with teams and be willing to overtime as needed.
