Job summary

Gallman Personnel Services is seeking a Precision Machine Operator for a first-shift, four-day work week position in a stable manufacturing environment. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour with a temp-to-hire path.

You will set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, inspect parts to quality specs, and adjust machines to maintain production standards. Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery
• Ability to read micrometers to .001 and use calipers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Lift up to 50 pounds; HS diploma or GED preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment
• Inspect products and verify conformance to quality specifications
• Perform machine adjustments to maintain production standards
• Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and production requirements
• Move and stage materials as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery
• Ability to read micrometers to .001 (thousandths) and use calipers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with precision measurements and quality standards
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or GED preferred

ImportantThis is not an entry-level Machine Operator position. Qualified candidates must have solid machine operating experience and be comfortable working with precision measuring tools in a manufacturing environment.
