Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Marietta, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Lubrication Technician to support a 24/7 manufacturing plant. You will execute lubrication routes and oil sampling, maintain lubricant systems, and collaborate with operators, mechanics, electricians and engineers to ensure proper PM work orders and accurate labels.

You will also manage lubrication inventory, coordinate PM and corrective tasks, and ensure correct lubrication application to prevent equipment damage or failures.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/plant environment.
• Basic understanding of industrial lubricants.
• Lubrication system experience in a manufacturing environment with rotating equipment
• Ability to be self-directed and work with limited supervision;
• Basic Maintenance troubleshooting and repair experience

Responsibilities

• Execute lubrication routes and oil sampling for analysis programs.
• Maintain lubrication systems and areas.
• Create work orders for preventive maintenance (PM) findings, oil analysis findings, unplanned planned, or emergency work.
• Ensure machine labels and lubrication tags are accurate.
• Recommend and maintain proper lubrication inventory and storage in maintenance lube room.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance (PM), oil sampling, and corrective tasks as needed.
• Ensure lubrication is applied correctly to prevent equipment damage or failures.
