Job summary

Allied Maker seeks Product Technicians to assemble decorative lighting fixtures with precision, care, and consistency at our Glen Cove, NY facility. Roles span Junior to Senior levels, with hourly full-time on-site work and opportunities to grow from basic assembly to complex builds.

You’ll follow drawings, use hand and power tools, inspect parts, and test completed fixtures to ensure craftsmanship and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience preferred but not required for candidates with strong mechanical ability.
• Ability to read drawings and instructions and learn Allied Maker processes.
• Experience in assembly, fabrication, electrical work, cabinetry, or related trades is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble decorative lighting fixtures from components, hardware, wiring and subassemblies.
• Follow drawings, work instructions, specifications, and procedures.
• Fit, fasten, align, wire, and finish components accurately.
• Inspect parts before and during assembly and identify issues.
• Maintain high standards for fit, finish, cleanliness and quality.
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Organize work and complete products within production timelines.
• Perform basic electrical assembly and wiring as appropriate.
• Test fixtures to meet quality and functional requirements.
• Communicate missing parts or production problems promptly.
• Maintain an orderly workstation and production environment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams.
