Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude for loading fixtures and adjusting processes.
• Demonstrated ability using Windows-based computers.
• Strong work ethic and ability to report to work consistently, including overtime.
• Flexible and willing to work on a variety of jobs as needed by the business.
• Analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Background in promoting safety and safety management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide service.

Responsibilities

• Follows documented procedures for generating assigned production work daily.
• Loads fixtures and makes adjustments to processes as needed.
• Utilizes a microscope to inspect parts and identify quality issues.
• Refers to blueprints to ensure jobs are processed per specifications.
• Monitors equipment and recommends maintenance or repairs.
• Sets up jobs as appropriate.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
