Job summary

Dimar-Manufacturing is seeking a Laser Combo Operator to safely run Turret/laser processes for diverse manufacturing needs. You will receive jobs from Planning, set up the machine, load appropriate programs, and inspect finished parts for print accuracy.

The role requires reading blueprints, knowledge of metals, and experience with CAD/SolidWorks. The operator must handle materials loading, program verification, and routine maintenance while meeting delivery schedules in a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

3–5 years leadership experience in a Job Shop.
3–5 years’ experience in CNC programming, machine operation, or turret/laser combo operation.
2- or 4-year degree or technical schooling in manufacturing or 5-10 years of proven increased responsibility in CNC programming/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Performs Turret / laser functions of sheet metal through automated Turret / laser Combo machine.
Receive work orders and jobs from Dimar Planning group, using production schedule software and other planning tools.
Set-up machine and run job based on settings from manufacturer or internal specs.
Review and maintain raw materials (sheet steel) needed to process orders and load machine.
Load proper programs into machine and verify rev, job numbers and quantities.
Inspect jobs against drawings and ensure cut quality for laser and turret.
Unload, sort and palletize jobs and ensure correct quantities and folders.
Perform hour-based maintenance specific to Turret / laser combo functions.
