Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st shift Turret Laser Combo Set up Operator to set up and run turret, laser, and combo fabrication equipment for quality sheet metal parts. You’ll work from customer specifications, read blueprints, and monitor tooling and machine settings to maximize efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience operating turret punch press machines in metal fabrication.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Team player with strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press and laser/turret combo equipment to produce quality sheet metal parts per blueprints.
• Verify machine settings, tooling, and fixtures before runs and adjust as needed.
• Observe machine performance and adjust controls to maintain quality within tolerances.
• Document production and quality data as required.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and sequencing of operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
