Job summary

Diamond Mowers is seeking a Laser/Plasma Table operator for the second shift (Mon-Thu, 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.) in Sioux Falls, SD. You will operate a laser table to produce high quality parts, read prints, and adjust the process to ensure accurate cuts while maintaining tooling setup and machine readiness.

You should have a high school diploma or GED (or technical training). Strong math, problem solving, and attention to detail are essential to prevent errors and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or technical school degree.
• Problem solver with ability to meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of math skills to interpret complex instructions.
• Proven attention to detail for laser table operations and output quality.
• Keen attention to detail for precision equipment and millimeter accuracy.
• Cross-training ability to other machining as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality parts from metal using a state-of-the-art laser table and brake presses.
• Read prints and adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path for precise cuts.
• Set up machine with correct tooling, ensure it runs properly and produces quality products.
• Ensure machine operates at full capacity, with materials stocked and maintained.
• Perform checks on output and inspect finished products for defects before next step.
• Support company values of customer service, teamwork and accountability.
