Job summary

Haas Automation, Inc. in Oxnard, CA, will relocate to Henderson, NV in February 2027. The Laser Metrology Technician tests production Haas machines and manages data for ECCN classifications used in export compliance.

You will set up and operate Renishaw laser interferometers, analyze results, and maintain accurate ECCN data in the SAP system while coordinating with production teams to access machines as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with CNC machinery, assembly or maintenance.
• Understands the geometry of a CNC machine and its effects on machining.
• Reads and understands blueprints; proficient with Excel and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage laser testing and data analysis for ECCN database.
• Set up and use Renishaw laser interferometer equipment.
• Coordinate with assembly managers to access machines and schedule tests.
• Store data and keep ECCN and SAP records updated.
