Job summary

PRECISION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES in North Manchester, IN is seeking a Laser Etch Operator to run laser etching equipment and produce precise markings on medical devices and components. You will ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.

You will interpret blueprints, set up machines, perform maintenance, conduct quality checks, and maintain production records while supporting process improvements and strict safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in laser technology or manufacturing are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating laser etching machines, preferably in a medical device manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser etching machines per established procedures and specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine settings for each job.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks to verify accuracy and quality of etched components per standards.
• Maintain production records including machine settings and quality inspection results.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
