Job summary

MCC Label in Neenah, WI is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. No prior experience required, though helpful, to help ensure print quality and efficient splicing processes.

You will operate, monitor and adjust machinery, handle rolls, record data in Globetek, and contribute to a clean, safe production floor. We offer 5-day shifts, a comprehensive benefits package and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to count labels and conversions.
• Ability to perform these operations with money, weight, volume and distance units.
• Comfort using Windows-based software and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
