Job summary

The HC Companies, Inc. in Middlefield, OH is seeking a Machine Operator/Print/Labeling Operator who will read packing sheets, inspect products from a Dry Offset printer, and load boxes according to company standards. The role involves working in a warm environment and handling up to 40 lbs over the shift.

You will also package, label, and palletize goods, troubleshoot minor printer issues, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished product from the Dry Offset printer
• Separate defective products and set in designated area for recycling.
• Package good quality product according to company standards
• Read packing sheets that guides you on how many pieces of product go into a box
• Assemble boxes onto pallets according to company standards
• Label boxes and pallets in preparation for shipping
• Operate a manual pallet jack
• Move finished pallets with pallet jack to designated area for Material Handlers
• Identify errors and problem solve
• Perform minor adjustments to Dry Offset printer (i.e., adjust screws, add ink)
