Job summary

CCL Ind. in Sonoma, CA is seeking an Operator to run rewind and finishing equipment to finish product according to customer specifications. You will work with press operators and quality teams to ensure production of high-quality labels and proper packaging for shipment.

The role requires basic computer skills, reading and math ability, and mechanical/manufacturing experience. Responsibilities include setup coordination, quality checks, splicing, and documenting production data.

Qualifications

• Reading and math at or above high school level.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use logic to evaluate options and solve problems.
• Ability to obtain and use equipment, facilities, and materials needed for the printing job.

Responsibilities

• Read order specs and set up rewind and finishing equipment to finish product and pack for shipment.
• Coordinate setup with the press operator for efficiency.
• Inspect for quality and ensure labels meet specs.
• Ensure correct splice, rewind position and core tags.
• Assist with make-ready and wash-ups.
• Complete reports and enter data for documentation.
