Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Asset Protection–based team member to support inventory control and asset protection operations. The role involves forklift operation, cross-functional teamwork, and ensuring accurate counts, processing returns, and safeguarding merchandise across the club environment.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to club standards, with a focus on maintaining a positive member experience and supporting store operations daily.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Experience operating forklift preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
• Process damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, and reverse logistics procedures.
• Obtain vendor return authorizations, process chargebacks, and ship merchandise returns per policies.
• Coordinate with department teams to conduct and complete counts within deadlines.
• Maintain accurate stock status for damaged, defective, and returned items.
• Support inventory control counts and ensure proper sign-age and clean organization of the department.
• Follow safety, filing, and lock-up standards and participate in required training.
