Pigott, Inc. is seeking a skilled Interior Finish Carpenter to join our Interior Construction team in Cedar Rapids, IA.

This role focuses on precision, craftsmanship, and high‑quality interior detail work, translating detailed layouts and architectural plans into finished spaces. You will work alongside Lead Technicians and Project Managers, ensuring accurate layouts, clean execution, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Experience as a finish carpenter or in commercial/residential construction (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of interior construction systems, including wall systems and related components.
• Receive, unload, stage, and organize materials for job site execution.
• Ensure proper layout and alignment prior to installation.
• Work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate issues, updates, and progress professionally.
• Perform punch list work, troubleshooting, repairs, and service items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Support furniture installation teams when interior construction work is not active.
