Job summary

Generous Brands, based in Southern California, seeks an Instrumentation Technician to test, calibrate, install, repair and inspect monitoring devices. You will perform preventive maintenance, communicate shift activity, and help minimize downtime through proactive improvements.

The role requires an Associates degree or 4+ years in the field, knowledge of calibration protocols, and experience with instrumentation and telemetry systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field; or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of database software, Intranet and Internet software, WMS Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word and Access

Responsibilities

• Proficiency on instrumentation protocols: 4-20 mA, 0-10 VDC, Hart, PID tuning, and related I/Ps.
• Coordinate electrical/instrument plans across three shifts for maintenance teams.
• Assist in inventory planning and spare parts verification for plant equipment.
• Manage and reduce repair costs while ensuring timely completion of work orders.
• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain metering/recording devices and telemetry systems.
