Job summary

CooperVision is seeking an inserts technician to fabricate and inspect precision tooling components in a high-tech manufacturing environment in Puerto Rico. You'll set up equipment, load design data, perform 100% inspections, and ensure traceability and quality through metrology and documentation.

You will operate the Optoform lathe, read drawings, and use micrometers, calipers, and related inspection tools to confirm specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in high tech engineering environments or tooling production.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% inspection at the assigned manufacturing stage.
• Load design data into batch control system for traceability.
• Fabricate inserts using Optoform lathe and verify with radiography/measurements.
• Maintain data records in manufacturing database.
